It would be great if one could block all social media widgets
Hi,
I'm using Epic Version 39.0.2171.71 (290621) on a Win 7 64 bit system.
Whenever the proxy is activated, Epic doesn't work, after address is entered, I receive,
"No data received, reload button and more button" reload gets same message, "more button" which then displays,
"Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.
Error code: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE"
In the past I had no problems using Epic Proxy, I've tried restarting Epic, redoing all my settings, searching Epic forums for this problem, got one hit, with no help. Also experiencing Amazon site dropping after 10 seconds w/ Snap..... try again, only to repeat same issue. Don't care about Amazon issue, do care that I can't use Epic proxy.
What does Epic suggest?
Have used Proxy on and off, it is a great feature. That said for the past week or so Proxy does not work, all I get is "No data received". I've read here that your Proxy servers" are down and you're working to make it better. I would just like it to work. Will you post on all forums when the issue is resolved, thanks you.....
Comments on websites not showing, they were at one time. Sites like Salon, Huffington Post, Slate and other webzines that have comment sections do not load. Something has been tured off/on and I can't find it (I'm not techie enough, sorry) Help!
I am have the same problem, a lot of sites, ex. I type in google and other sites, with the proxy widget "open" it closes by itself and tells me "no data received". It does this when I close Epic and start again, over and over. Any suggestions besides close and restart Epic?
Version # and knowing if I have the most up to date version. Newbi here, just wish to know how to update or if updates are automatic, thank you
