How to Change Proxy Settings

Greetings,

I'm a newbie and was wondering if Epic will allow me to change the proxy settings?  The reason is that I am using an Internet Filter that is working with other browsers but not with Epic.

Thanks in advance!

Re: How to Change Proxy Settings

Yes, Epic supports custom proxy settings as well, go to chrome://settings page ->Advanced setttings->Below Change Proxy settings, there is check box, Check that box, epic proxy will be disappear.

Thank You

Re: How to Change Proxy Settings

By the way, is there anyway to "lock" the setting,"Disable Epic Proxy" so that no one can uncheck it?

Thanks in advance!

Re: How to Change Proxy Settings

Hi hsp7777,

open settings (chrome://settings),  in network section check the "Disable Epic Proxy". This should work for you.

Thank You

Re: How to Change Proxy Settings

Is there anyway to prevent others from changing this setting?  If an individual goes to settings, they have the ability to check or uncheck "Disable Epic Proxy".  I want this option checked at all times with no one being able to ever uncheck it.  Is this possible?  (I hope my question makes sense).

Thanks in advance!

Re: How to Change Proxy Settings

I was just wondering if it is possible to prevent a user from going to Advanced Settings and then unchecking "Disable Proxy"?  I want the "Disable Proxy" option to ALWAYS be checked.  Is it possible to PREVENT a user from "unchecking" this option?

Thank you!
