repost of problem with Amazon pages display

1.  Amazon pages won't display for more than about 30 seconds.

2.  After about 30 seconds, the Amazon page disappears, and the "oh snap" error message appears.

3.  The browser does not crash.

4.  This happens whether or not the Epic Privacy Browser proxy server is engaged.

5.  This happens at Amazon's home page and at pages resulting from searches done at Amazon. I haven't tested the UK version of Amazon.

6.  I haven't seen this problem happen at any other web site.

7.  I'm using an Acer laptop running Windows 7.

8.  I have not recently changed any browser settings.

9.  I have not recently installed any software.

10. My computer has not recently contracted any viruses or malware.

11. I first noticed this a few days ago.  That would be around December 4, 2014.

12.  My original post has been hidden from view.  Today is December 11, 2014.  I'm reposting the problem.

13.  The problem I described now occurs very infrequently, but it hasn't disappeared.

14.  Is there a bug that can be resolved, or is this an insoluble problem?

Thanks for your help.

Re: repost of problem with Amazon pages display

I'm getting the same problem with Amazon pages. The "Oh Snap!" screen is infrequent anywhere else, but a constant nuisance on Amazon.com

Re: repost of problem with Amazon pages display

Thanks for your attention to this problem.  As I said, it's become infrequent.  Whether or not it's completely resolved, I'll continue using the Epic Privacy Browser.  I'm a strong supporter of your focus on user privacy, and very much appreciate all your work.

I too am a great supporter and will continue regardless of this minor nuisance!

Re: repost of problem with Amazon pages display

We can't keep an Amazon page open for more than 20 seconds before it crashes.  Have you figured out the problem yet?
