Epic Privacy Browser Forums

Hi,
Is there a resolution - I am not doing a "Search" I am entering a URL and don't understand why this is coming from Google when I use Epic and their policy says they don't use Google servers? Plus the Captcha is like 10 or 12+ times before they accept me as a human ever so frequently. Should I log into a gmail account to prevent this ? I really do not want to have to do that!
