Yeah, I get why Epic dropped extensions for privacy reasons, but honestly a lot of us know the risks and would still like the choice. Extensions make the browser way more flexible for power users.
Maybe a middle ground could work? Like having a separate “extensions mode” that’s disabled by default, but available for those of us who are okay with the trade-offs. That way new users stay safe, and privacy risk-takers still get the functionality.
By the way, I came across TechGenies
recently they share some interesting stuff around tech and privacy that’s worth checking out.
