Hello Epic-Team,
"Epic is the world's only highly private & secure web browser.
Browse Faster with Privacy. "
As I've read this today on CNET and as Security Specialist on my own I was getting curious about how secure it is...
Well...
In the download section I only found a webinstaller...
So no portable?
I was wondering, how I can use "...the world's only highly private & secure web browser." then, if I'm not at home...
To see what and where it leave it data, I wanted to install it in my Sandboxie Profile I made for it.
But...
It started the to throw exceptions...
No chance to install it in Sandboxie.
It's a long time ago I wasn't able to install something in Sandboxie.
I'm too lazy to give it a chance in my VM.
Privacy might be internet-based but in Windows?
Too bad that Epic don't have a portable version, so I prefer my Browsers in Portableapps and Liberkey because the Data is NOT stored in the Windows User Folder and also i can take them with me.
But it was a funny experience, how "... the world's only highly private & secure web browser" refuses, to make it more "private & secure"...
For me it's far away from "Epic".
So long,
CarefulCat
