Greetings, I had to reinstall Epic from an old backup. Been having major problems with it today, couldn't even get the installer to finish the job from scratch! Luckily there's the old portable. That said, now that I have it all back up and running with all my bookmarks and reinstalled extentions... the only thing that's not here yet, are my passwords and login IDs.
Can you help me restore them from the files in my Default folder? I just copied it as a backup the other day after reading this here on the forum: passwords . Sadly, dispite the title passwords, those are the only thing I can't seem to find (I don't want to copy the entier Default folder! I suspect something in there was causing the problem. (New ghoast VPN plugin maybe? - the only one that doesn't ask me for login ID, What kind of industry stanard error is that on VPNs anyway(). Anywho, I figured they would be in “Login Data” “Login Data.journal” but copying those files from the other day have not added the passwords to the new ~"install" (old portable copy copy).
Where could they be those good old passswords?
You tell me, and I will copy, paste and cheer with glee!. Next I will export them properly, u sing the exporter which I didn't know existed until now.
