Many thanks for your suggestion.  I've now tried that, and set the proxy to active (and checked also after restarting the Epic browser).  Even with the proxy enabled, under Settings/Search engine, I only have Yahoo! Deutschland and Epic as my two choices.  Is there anything else I can try?

I'm based in Germany, but would like search results in English.  As search engines options I see Yahoo Germany and Epic.  I understand the concerns about adding other providers, but is there a way to make the browser offer me Yahoo US, UK, etc. as my Yahoo search country?  Is that a setting, or decided through geolocating at download or browser launch time?
