The WebRTC leak problem is well described in a "lifehacker" post published today, February 11, 2015.

Here's a link.

I just wanted to add a bit about this issue.  Thanks for working on it, and I hope you soon find a solution.

According to the web site ipleak.net, Epic Privacy Browser leaks WebRTC requests, thereby revealing the user's IP address, even when the user has invoked the browser's built-in proxy server.  Needless to say, this is an obvious security problem.  Although I haven't used it, there is a Chrome extension built to address this issue.  It's called "WebRTC Block," and it's available at the Chrome store here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta … cadhfbkdm.

Could the WebRTC Block extension be adapted for users of the Epic Privacy Browser?

Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for your attention to this problem.  As I said, it's become infrequent.  Whether or not it's completely resolved, I'll continue using the Epic Privacy Browser.  I'm a strong supporter of your focus on user privacy, and very much appreciate all your work.

1.  Amazon pages won't display for more than about 30 seconds.

2.  After about 30 seconds, the Amazon page disappears, and the "oh snap" error message appears.

3.  The browser does not crash.

4.  This happens whether or not the Epic Privacy Browser proxy server is engaged.

5.  This happens at Amazon's home page and at pages resulting from searches done at Amazon. I haven't tested the UK version of Amazon.

6.  I haven't seen this problem happen at any other web site.

7.  I'm using an Acer laptop running Windows 7.

8.  I have not recently changed any browser settings.

9.  I have not recently installed any software.

10. My computer has not recently contracted any viruses or malware.

11. I first noticed this a few days ago.  That would be around December 4, 2014.

12.  My original post has been hidden from view.  Today is December 11, 2014.  I'm reposting the problem.

13.  The problem I described now occurs very infrequently, but it hasn't disappeared.

14.  Is there a bug that can be resolved, or is this an insoluble problem?

Thanks for your help.
