Hi everyone,
My organization has been using Power BI for about a year now. While we have managed to create some decent basic dashboards, we are hitting a wall as our data sources become more complex.
We are currently debating whether to invest in intensive training for our current IT staff or to bite the bullet and hire an external Power BI Consulting Service to build out our architecture and govern our data properly.
For those of you who have faced this decision, what did you choose?
If you went with a professional Power BI Consulting Service, did you find that the speed of implementation and expert knowledge provided a good return on investment compared to trying to do it all in-house?
I would love to hear your experiences—both good and bad. Thanks!
