If one reads the section "How epic works - Search Protection" the green proxy symbol is shown to the left of the Star symbol, yet it appears to the right of the Umbrella in my version of Epic. Does this indicate I do not have something configured correctly or is the "How epic works" section out of date?
Alok:
Sorry to report the Epic browser will only work if I do not use the proxy servers. The problem has been ongoing even after your last post on July 21st.
About a week ago the Epic Browser stopped working most of the time when connected by way of the proxy Server. Bypassing the proxy allows web connections. Occasionally, I have been able to connect via the proxy Server. No other reports have appeared on this Forum. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
I've had to switch back to Firefox with great reluctance.
Configuration: Intel Macintosh, OS 10.9.5, Epic 40.9.2185.o
Starting this morning the Epic Browser has been extremely slow - minutes to connect - or possibly won't connect at all. I'm sending this message by logging in to the Forum via Firefox. (:o(
just wanted to make you aware of the problem. I very much depend on Epic from my browsing whenever possible. The number of Trackers it blocks is truly alarming.
The Browser page displays some, but not all Trackers. How can I view a list of all the trackers?
