There are three possible ways to recover PST files in Microsoft Outlook, depending on the cause of the problem – accidental deletion, corruption or the PST still existing on the computer. When there is corruption but no deletion, the tool offered by Microsoft is the Inbox Repair Tool, called SCANPST.EXE. When there is deletion, do not save any new files on that same drive since it might overwrite your deleted files. For deleted PST files, a data recovery program like Notchox should be considered when trying to recover the deleted PST files from supported Windows drives.
