Update: I waited a day and downloaded the installer again on Sept. 30. I installed the same version, 117.0.5938.92, but everything is working well now. No antivirus flags. The new version is beautiful and works so much better, with no more Cloudflare hangups. Thank you!

As of today, Windows Defender keeps blocking a Trojan called Trojan:Script/Wacatac.F!ml
located at:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Epic Privacy Browser\Application\epic.exe
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Epic Privacy Browser.lnk

I've tried downloading the Epic installer and reinstalling. Installation is successful, but Windows Defender identifies the same Trojan at
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Epic Privacy Browser\Application\117.0.5938.92\Installer\chrome.7z

and prevents Epic from opening.

Malwarebytes does not identify any threats.

Could you provide any guidance?
