I think you mean dropping support for Manifest v2 once the Chromium team does so at the end of this year now that Manifest v3 is rolled out. We're not sure what our plan is in respect to Manifest v2 support. We would like to continue to support Manifest v2 as it's important for a lot of extensions including the ad blockers as you noted. Google is still trying to accommodate some requests by extension developers to modify Manifest v3, hence the delay in sunsetting Manifest v2. We're keeping a close eye on this. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for your support of Epic -- so glad it's working well for you. Expensive Car in Mod APK of Car Parking Multiplayer game
It seems like Epic Browser has been able to gracefully avoid privacy and ad-blocking issues that have threatened other browsers over the years, but it seems very possible that this new extension API will be a great equalizer that threatens ad blocking everywhere, including on Epic. As far as I'm aware, there's been no news from the Epic team on how they'll be dealing with the change, or if it will affect Epic at all, so I'm concerned for the future of Epic, privacy browsers, and online privacy in general. Would love to hear from you guys about this. Thanks for all the protection over the years. and regardless of what happens, I think I'll stick with Epic.
