Not getting bookmarks to show up after importing from firefox. Numerous attempt have failed. Help?

I imported bookmarks from Firefox and enabled "show bookmarks bar" but I am not seeing bookmarks bar in the browser. Did it 3--4 times. No success. Any steps please. Thanks.
