Hey everyone,

Just wanted to chime in on this—there are definitely a lot of myths floating around about international travel insurance. A few big ones I’ve come across:

“I’m healthy, I don’t need it.”
Totally false. Even if you're fit, you never know what might happen—accidents, food poisoning, or unexpected illnesses can hit anyone.

“It only covers medical stuff.”
Actually, many policies cover a lot more—like trip cancellations, delays, lost baggage, and even emergency evacuations.

“My credit card already covers me.”
Some cards do offer travel perks, but they’re usually very limited. Always read the fine print.

“It’s too expensive.”
Not really. Compared to what you might have to pay out-of-pocket overseas, it’s a smart investment.

“I can get it later if something comes up.”
Some coverage (like trip cancellation or interruption) only kicks in if you buy the policy soon after booking your trip.

Bottom line—don’t skip it just because of these myths. Better safe than sorry when you’re far from home.

Hope that helps someone out there!
