I understand the reason for including the warning but not the years long delay in failing to include an 'on/off' option. May I suggest a 'feature' such as this is preventing Epic from growing its user base? Perhaps it could be a one time window with an explanation of what will be lost if permanently disabled?
I think you are underestimating the intelligence of those seeking a privacy centric browser in 2020.
So much potential but the browser is currently unusable for me. I would assume this is also true for anyone who ever clicks the 'block pop-ups' option in every
other browser setting. Warning boxes are helpful once but become reminiscent of the pop-up ads from 15+ years ago after just a few sessions.
