Is EPIC really private/secure under WINDOWS?

How can an application (e.g. a web browser) be private and secure, if it's installed on top of an OS that GRABS ITS DATA and HANDS THEM OVER TO 3RD PARTIES (e.g. "agencies")?!

Don't use Windows 10 - It's a privacy nightmare

Re: Is EPIC really private/secure under WINDOWS?

So sorry for the delayed response & thanks for your replies @del1000.  The unanswered posts are generally to twice-made posts, spam, or otherwise redundant posts.  We're late at times, but we do try to reply to every post.

Yes, Windows10 is a not great in terms of privacy :-(.  That said, Epic does provide much more privacy than using a default browser or any other browser on Windows10.  Many of the browser privacy issues are related to Microsoft browsers and don't apply to Epic.  The highest level of privacy as always is with Epic's encrypted proxy on.  We understand that newer technologies like assistants like Cortana require access to a lot of data (Cortana is one of the big culprits in Win10 and I know many Microsoft employees who refuse to use it for privacy concerns!!), but Microsoft and the other large tech companies need to build these out with privacy-first and they need to do a MUCH better job of it.

Keep using and spreading Epic and make sure everyone knows privacy matters to you!!
