This sounds like a browser-level conflict rather than the Stands extension itself. Epic has its own built-in ad and tracker blocking, and in some cases it overrides or resets third-party extension permissions, which can cause settings to revert after restart. You could try temporarily disabling Epic’s built-in ad blocker entirely, then reinstall Stands and set the options again before restarting the browser. Also check if Epic is running in a “private mode only” profile, as some settings don’t persist there. For testing, you can verify behavior on different sites (even non-news ones like https://www.gorillabow.com) to see if the rules actually apply despite the UI resetting, sometimes the blocking works even when the toggles don’t visually stick.
