Yeah, they could instead add a capcha for each posting if there is that so much spam is going around.
Which I actually doubt.
Is it in any way possible to deactivate all scripting? Maybe through Umbrella? Maybe through another extension?
It would be cool to have that that all is deactivated by default and only turned on demand.
That really would close (almost) all security and privacy leaks.
There a few extensions out there which (at least try) do this.
Like e.g. NoScript (most common, but there are better out there ... and unfortunately more complicated to use) ... and similar.
Maybe you can fetch some ideas from them and or work together.
Why is the donate button so hidden?
I had to go to a subsite to find it.
I mean things like development and the proxy ... which has gone bad lately (has become horrible slow)... all those cost money ...
Ask for money (a little) more aggressively so that you can provide a good service.
Many still have the mentality "This is the internet, everything is for free" and usually they pay with their privacy without even knowing. Some services are better payed for ...
That said I am dirt poor. But at least I will start a (small) monthly subscription beginning from now.
