I’d start by separating normal files from actual tracking files. A lot of “3,000+ tracking files” reports are usually browser cookies, cache files, temp files, or app data, not always malware.
First, clear browser cookies/cache from Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc. Then check installed programs and remove anything you don’t recognize. After that, run a trusted scan with Windows Security and Malwarebytes. You can also use tools like CCleaner carefully, but don’t delete system files blindly.
I recently cleaned my own system and removed old PS2 BIOS/emulator related files from my platform because I wanted to keep only what I actually use and avoid messy downloads. The biggest tip is: don’t just delete random files because a scanner says “tracking.” Check what they are, where they are located, and whether they are browser data, app cache, or something actually suspicious.
