#1 Epic Windows Bugs » I can't seem to access the download manager? » 2023-11-27 01:46:33

I rmember there was a download manager that could grab any file I wanted, all I had to do was click it and it would show me things I couldn't even suss out with Inspect Element (though I'm not terrific at parsing it anyhow). That's suddenly not here, I've reset the browser, closed and opened it, and I find I can't use chrome webstore to find something to replace it, even when I turn all the addons off.

I even managed to get into the extensions folder, and I don't seem to see the downloader in there either. I put in a new one, but I notice not all the extensions in that folder actually show up visibly in the browser, only 3 of them do, including the download manager I tried to put in.

Has the download grabber been removed? If it hasn't, how the heck do I get it working again? If it has been, well, how the heck do I replace it?

I'm also having the same issue described as in the first post, in addition the extensions never work upon boot, and when the browser boots it flickers very intensely. I'm using Windows 10. I checked my chrome//settings/passwords, nothing shows up except any new additions, but the sql backup file is there and has all the
logins, and their passwords encrypted. If I knew how to decrypt it I could get my passwords back, as it is I'm stranded.
