https://forum.epicbrowser.com/viewtopic.php?id=1663 try this
I ran into this issue also on the windows version, mac seems to work though. I found that the option Settings>Downloads>Ask where to save each file before downloading is preventing the extension installer popup. So you may have to temporary allow downloads without permission to allow the extension to install. This is how I was able to get the extension to install.
It's being worked on by the Epic team as I know from contact with them.
Do a search in the forum for 'export bookmarks'.There are a number of solutions.
Otherwise export bookmarks to a file using bookmarks manager, click on 3 dots upper RH corner, export bookmarks and import into your other browser via Email, bluetooth, airdrop etc.
Good luck!
It is being worked on. I contacted the team last week and sent Chrome debug logs.

I have been trying to get a couple extensions to install on my Mac. As one of the Guests mentioned the option Settings>Downloads>Ask does prevent the installation of extensions. Perhaps this could be addressed.
Thanks to crane !
Nice job Alok and company! Everything seems to be working smoothly and all the minor annoyances have been fixed as far as I can tell.
Thanks for all the effort with your band of programmers! I am sure that all the operating systems make it more complex.
Same here, except my subscriptions were all enabled, I unchecked (enable), all except a couple subscriptionsand now it's fine. I am getting a Chrome out of date dialog now, Version 80.4.3991.125 OS Catalina.
If you haven't done so disable the encrypted proxy. I was doing the same thing and that is the message I got!
When using mail. open link behind mail does not work, copy and paste does!
The browser is great!
A couple small problems. In OS X 10.11.4 the trackpad gestures are not functional except for scrolling and the password utility works on the Macbook Air but not on the desktop. I am sure it is a simple fix but I haven't figured it out out. Perhaps a keychain setting? Please advise.
Thanks

So far everything is fairly good in the update. I did notice that gestures don't work in the trackpad. Also the save password is non functional and the page size seems to be smaller. I tried to reset everything to 125 or 150 % but it has to be done every time. It's probably something that could be checked out.
The browser updated on my desktop but not on The Macbook Air. Any reason or idea why not!
When I try to install the Update it fails and Epic crashes. Again I have disabled my Sophos anti-virus and set my security preferences to allow downloads.
Is it something to do with SIP?

I have downloaded EPIC 3 times. When I click to install it crashes. I get the following message in console. 4/10/16 12:30:10.604 PM com.apple.xpc.launchd[1]: (com.apple.ReportCrash[6130]) Endpoint has been activated through legacy launch(3) APIs. Any ideas!
I have checked the allow downloads in security preferences and disabled Sophos antivirus.
