Is this why in the last day or so Epic is back to its old trick of placing icons on the desktop and the taskbar every time the computer is booted up?
I am running Win7 Home Premium and this has happened before but was thought to be solved for many months.
The new build (55) keeps putting a new icon on the desktop and in the taskbar. This occurs at boot-up or randomly while the computer is running. Please correct.
Since release 55 installed itself on my machine, I have been getting an extra Epic icon on the desktop and in the taskbar. It usually occurs when the computer is booted up, and then will occur 2-3 times later during the day. I remove the extra icons each time but it always repeats itself later. I normally keep an Epic icon on the desktop and none in the taskbar.
Is this the bug that you refer to, and are you aware that it still needs to be fixed?
Over the last two days I have found a new Epic icon planted on my desktop and also in the taskbar at the bottom. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. This has happened three times--twice when I booted up, once after a couple of hours.
I have been a satisfied user for months but this has never happened before.
Is this normal behavior for the new version? If so, it's a problem for me, because I want to find just one Epic icon on the desktop and none in the taskbar.
