Sathi,
Here are some screenshots - its a simple time-out, while other addresses produce normal loading times. This is on 10.6.8.
I seem to be able to use epicsearch.in from another mac running 10.9.1 without these problems.
I can't see any way to attach a screenshot here.
Just to reinforce the request for making it possible to add the lastpass extension. The point of this is that making it easy to use really secure passwords is completely consistent with using epic - better security.
As to technicalities, obviously you don't want to make it easy to add extensions from 3rd parties as these will likely be used to undermine epic's main purpose.
Nevertheless, wouldn't it be possible to allow installations ONLY of approved extensions - validated by the checksum of the supplied code? Chrome knows when certain extensions can't be installed, so there is obviously code there to determine whether a particular extension is permitted, and for handling the situation when it isn't - could this be adapted to allow only approved extensions/versions from approved suppliers/sources?
Still having problems accessing search (MacOS 10.6.8).
Also, related or not, I very frequently can't access duckduckgo.com
Firefox/epicsearch.in - quite responsive
epic, search from nav bar - fails due to timeout (NET ERR 7)
This is an issue which I hope is due to sky-rocketing popularity of epic! Using search is almost impossible for the last couple of days.
I accepted it as being a little slow when first started using epic, as I understand that epicsearch has to do more than google to ensure privacy.
However, epicsearch now mostly times out, or comes close to timing out. I am using duckduckgo in the meantime.
As I say, I hope that this is due to overwhelming demand, and that this will translate into lots of money to get more/faster/better search!
btw, I am in the UK on Mac 10.6.8, in case it makes a difference...
