I tried that and also tried resetting Epic, but the problem remained.
Then if I have it turned on but it's not working, is there something else I can try?
@alok_epicteam I'm not sure what you mean by "block lists" -- under extensions I have "Epic AdBlocker: A highly efficient ad & tracker blocker built on uBlock Origin and optimized for Epic" and it can be removed or turned on and off, and mine is turned on. Is that what you're talking about, or is there something else I'm missing?
The version of macOS I have is the latest version of Mojave, 10.14.6.
Hi Proxy1, thank you for your quick reply, sorry I didn't get to it sooner. Unfortunately, I have now tried both of those things, and it didn't work, ads still aren't being blocked.
I don't know if this is a Mac bug or a general bug or if it's something that's already being addressed (I searched the forums for a solution, in vain).
Essentially, one of my favorite things about Epic was how it blocked ads pretty much everywhere on the web (except for Yahoo), but lately I've been seeing ads all over the place as if the AdBlocker just doesn't work anymore. And yes, I do have AdBlocker turned on in the extensions.
I'm using Mojave. Epic version is 103.0.5060.53 (which I don't know if it's the most recent, but the browser isn't notifying me of anything more recent).
