facebook notifications

the ones actually on facebook the show up when you click on the world on facebook they are not showing up on this browser like nobody ever comments back but then i go on another browser and bam people have been commenting just this browser somehow is blocking it from showing up on facebook now yet again im not talking about the browsers notifcations for facebook its the actual notification menu on facebook that doesnt show it on this browser not even when you click into the notification page
