Bitdefender Internet Security 2019 version is tagging Epic Privacy Browser as Ransomware and is closing the browser

Unfortunately the heuristics or algorithms of most anti-virus software is terrible and turns up a LOT of false positives.  As long as you downloaded Epic from epicbrowser.com (always download Epic only from our site), it's safe.  You may have to white-list Epic in BitDefender so that they don't keep closing it.
