Re: Latest update breaks a number of things

1.  We just launched a new update which should fix this.  We are moving faster now that we're sustainable :-).

2.  It's basically the same adblock...ads will only go through on yahoo sites :-(.  We're exploring other ad blocking alternatives though as so many sites now block ad blockers.

3.  Yes, we should incorporate that.  Which extension(s) do you recommend for this?  We'll explore it.

Re: Latest update breaks a number of things

The update is live for Windows and you should already have it (Windows auto-updates).  It will be released soon for Mac.  So now on Windows, if you change the content settings, that data is saved.

Autoplay Stopper looks neat -- we'll look into the code and publisher a bit to see if we could offer it.  Thanks for the recommendation.  One issue with smaller extensions like that is they're often acquired by malicious acquirers who then start saving & selling browsing history...even if the original developer didn't do that.  But we'll evaluate it and see if we can insure its integrity.

If you're using Yahoo search, try to use it as much as you can -- that supports us a lot actually :-).  Or you can subscribe to EpicSearch when we activate the subscriptions in a week or two if you prefer stronger privacy :-).

Thanks as always for your feedback & support!

Re: Latest update breaks a number of things

Subscriptions should be active in a few weeks...thank you in advance for your support.  In the meantime, please do use EpicSearch for free -- you can switch to it in the settings/search options in all our browsers.

Epic supports the Chrome WebStore.  You can now install just about any Chrome Extension in Epic including Autoplay Stopper :-).
