Did you go to preferences, extensions or chrome://extensions/?  or In extensions under search  proxy and enable.

Hopefully I have answered your question, when I loaded browser I believe it was in Preferences/ Search/"proxy" and enable in preferences but it could be in Preferences/extensions.

Sorry I can't do more!

The Epic Proxy extension is not available for installation in any browser other than Epic.
