That shouldn't be from Epic and Epic does not add any files or such when you download files.  So it's most likely from some other software on your system or from the site itself.  It sounds odd?!  Be sure you have the real Epic which is always only downloaded via epicbrowser.com.

Definitely delete that file as it shouldn't be be from / shouldn't be needed...who knows where it's from!
