proxy server failure

Though I'm using the proxy and by going to a site like "whatsmyipaddress.com" it does show my IP as the NJ address.
But when I go to a site such as abc.com and try to watch a show, it say's I'm not in the USA which is true , but I think that shows an error in your privacy.  Is there a way to fix this and make it work

Re: proxy server failure

Hi Tori,

You can go to Umbrella button, disable Block Ads and Trackers, and try logging in...!

Re: proxy server failure

Just disable "Block Third Party cookies" along with "Block Ads and Trackers".
once done set them back, so that you keep your sessions trackers free.

Re: proxy server failure

Why am I getting this: "Error code: ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED" all of a sudden? Browser had been working great for months until the last few days when it is "Unable to connect to the proxy server". Uninstalled and Re-installed Epic but did not solve the problem. Please explain and tell me how to make the browser work again.  Lee

Re: proxy server failure

You don't need to do uninstall and install, You can wait for few minutes and proxy shall be back. We are working on fixing this issue.

Re: proxy server failure

I like the Epic browser - however it takes ages for every page to load. Really slow. Up to a minute on superfast broadband. Why does it take so long for pages to load? I am in the UK. I would use Epic more but its speed is just awful.  Is my ISP slowing me down perhaps?

Re: proxy server failure

Hello jcjayanta6,

There was some technical glitch yesterday, as we were upgrading our proxy servers to accomodate more bandwidth. It should be fast now.

Thank You

Re: proxy server failure

Still having the issue with the proxy. Changing settings in the umbrella (e.g., turning everything off) has no impact. No sites (so far) are accessible with proxy on. I turn the proxy off and everything works.

Re: proxy server failure

Sorry about the inconvenience. You can disable the proxy when it is not working by going to settings page.
Yeah, our partner spotflux has not been reliable. We apologise for that.
We're setting up a much more stable proxy, very soon browsing will be much smoother, secure and stable.

Thank You
Sai
