Google maps plug-in and https

Since this forum won't let me post a "link", you'll have to find it yourself: the weatherspark dashboard doesn't work properly in Epic (default installation, I've changed nothing at this point).  Trying to use that web page (sorry, no link ...) results in a page that includes the message:

Loading Google Maps plugin...

If you're using HTTPS Everywhere please disable it for GoogleMaps since it makes the authorization request fail.

I suspect that this is being caused by Epic's default use of https in some way, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to be sure of that.  I poked around with the umbrella button, and the "view site information" but wasn't able to find a way to get this to work.

Any suggestions for how to get the GoogleMaps addin work here in Epic?
