standalone download

Why is Epic not available as a standalone download?

Re: standalone download

We're a small team and actually doing a portable Epic isn't as easy as it seems...we tried and it would take a bit of time.  We hope to get to this soon though!!

Re: standalone download

I think this is a real important issue! I love the idea of EpicBrowser (thumbs up to you, guys), and I am willing to live with some of its shortcomings, but this I cannot live with.

In my opinion you cannot call this a privacy browser and not have a portable version. A portable version is the biggest privacy protection of all.

A permanent installation exposes all kinds of privacy sensitive information. For one, all settings are exposed (proxies etc..)

And if Epic Browser accidentally leaked stuff, it wouldn't be such a big deal if it were on your own USB stick.

I really think that this should be you BIGGEST PRIORITY.
