Is the Proxy Icon meant to be shown on the address bar automatically? It is not showing on my screen, so do you have to do something to display it?

Hi,
Just now I installed epic, so it must be up to date.(31.0.1650.57 (196386)). After several hours run, I just did not see any webpage shows this proxy icon in the address bar.
Please fix this.

Joshatt,
Sorry the above method is only for Mac OS X. For Windows, we shall launch this auto-fixing of epic functionality very soon.

hi, (i'm using mac os 10.9.2)
the button for surfing by proxy is not appearing anymore since i hit the button "change proxy settings" in the advanced settings section.
i tried everything (update, new installation (with wich all bookmarks automatically appeared again?) but the proxy icon is not appearing anymore.
and i can't find a uninstall option?
for the rest i'm very happy with epic browsing

there is a checkbox "Disable Epic Proxy" just below the change proxy settings, did you uncheck it and try that?
Offline
"Set your own proxy (This will disable the Epic proxy)" checkbox was not checked and still there was no proxy button.
but just to try i checked the box, restarted epic and unchecked it again and now proxy is back on.
so i am happy!

Mr sai,
Thank you,but it doesn't work,in fact there is no Extensions folder under Epic Privacy Browser/User Data/Default/
Fold Default when I quit Epic can be seen on the left,And the right one is the fold when Epic is running
May I have some advice?

Do you store any kind login data in Epic, if so, please backup Login Data file and remove whole "Default" directory. You may loose any settings if you have saved earlier in settings page. By doing a new profile will be copied, then proxy icon should come back.

sorry, but the icon is still gone, thank you all the same.
