Hi,
First, thanks for all your hard work; it's appreciated.
I tried to update Epic on OSX 10.9.1 recently, but it failed with an "Update Error".
So, I deleted Epic and went to download the latest DMG file, hosted at rackcdn.com at:
https://ed5b681d56298a85550d-7d665255a6 … e/Epic.dmg
Unfortunately, while it installs okay, running the Epic.app fails with a message box complaining:
"Epic is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash"
... indicating the digital signature hasn't matched the downloaded app.
I tried Epic's Proxy on another machine to find a different image, but it also offered the same rackcdn.com link.
Please re-upload a correctly signed image so I can get Epic installed here... I miss not having to worry about browsing!
Thanks,
p2

Hi
Can you try again. I just reverted back to the older version. Shall update to latest version again tomorrow.
Thank you for reporting this.

Hi again,
Yes, version 2448 downloaded fine, although I had to Control-Open the dmg as it's unsigned.
More importantly, it runs fine and offered to update to 2450, which also happily works.
Thanks for the great support; I'm looking forward to keeping current with Epic.

Hi,
Thanks for letting us know about things working back.
I have tried again and verified the link (rackcdn link ) above, it worked fine for me on Mac OS X. 10.8.4. Can you try it again and let us know.
Are you able to open other dmgs as well other than Epic.dmg? If not can you see if this is the issue causing it?
Please do let us know if this is the cause.
Thank You
Sai

Hi Sai,
No, I don't have that issue with opening dmg files. This is a relatively new install of Mavericks I'm running here.
I repeated the download of 2448 from rackcdn.com and it now installs normally - no Control-Open required.
It also prompted with an update to 2450, which also completed successfully. All seems well again!
Cheers,
