Epic icon in taskbar and on desktop

Hi,

I have Epic installed in my taskbar but it also shows on the desktop. When I remove the icon to the bin, some times later it shows up again: annoying.

I uninstalled Epic and reinstalled it again: nothing changed so far, probably less frequent.

Something I can do to stop this from happening?

Thanks for writing back.
I am also using epic and I deleted desktop short cut(shift+del) and it didn't show up for me in last 2 days.
Can u tell me more about how often u are getting back the epic icon on desktop.

Hi immastan,

To start with: the problem didn't happen again after another de/reinstall.

The desktopicon came back all the time when I had the Epic browser open. After deletion it turnes up again wthin minutes. Same with the taskbar icon.

But all is well that ends well and the problem is gone, for whatever reason.
