Epic Privacy Browser Detected as Malware by Avast Free Anti-Virus

Hi Epic Team;

When I opened my browser today, my Avast Free Anti-Virus detected the:

C:\Users\franklin-mia-wayne\AppData\Local\Epic Privacy Browser\Application\epic.exe

as a virus and thus deleted it rendering my browser non-usable. I tried adding this to the exclusions and everything related to the browser program but it still detects as a virus. Even disabled my Avast and re-installed Epic along with the exclusions but to no avail.

I've never had this problem before and i was wondering if there were changes to the updates which caused my Anti-Virus to detect it as such. Hope you can look into this. Will also send this to Avast and report this as a "False Positive".

Thank you and MORE POWER!!!!

Avast did the same thing to my Epic, and even though I deleted Avast and now use another anti-virus software, I can''t get Epic back.  How can I get it back?
