not allowed - what does this mean?

while performing an Epic search for a specific keyword, epic returns the site but instead of a description if returns the following text;
"We would like to show you a description here but the site won’t allow us."
What is meant by not allowed in this case?  Missing meta data?  Incorrect robots.txt file?  Something else?
