Dear Sir,
The downloading is very slow if the global proxy is made active.
If global proxy is made active, msg is " unable to connect to server".
So, to download any site the global proxy is made inactive, then only the browser is working.
In fact EPIC browser is working after making the global proxy inactive.
Please advise.

But the option of " block third party cookies " is missing under umbrella option.
other options are available.
I cannot open xat site, as opening of xat site requires unblocking of third party cookies.

After navigating as you advised, these folders & files are appearing:
Folders - _locales, images
Files- background ( Jscript script file 13 KB), manifest.json ( JSON File - 1KB), options ( Firefox HTML docs - 1 KB).
Im not able to use global proxy.

Hi Satya,
you can open manifest.json and let us know the version number. If you don't have important bookmarks and passwords, then you can delete Epic's user data. Navigate to %localappdata%\Epic Privacy Browser\ then delete user data folder and start Epic.
If you are concerned about your bookmarks, you can export as html to your local machine and import them later from bookmark manager.
Please let us know your proxy is working or not.

As advised, I have Navigated to %localappdata%\Epic Privacy Browser\ ,then deleted user data folder and started epic, but the global proxy still not working.

@satya: great, your proxy is working now. can you do a little more testing from your side. open command prompt and type
cd %localappdata%/Epic Privacy Browser/Application then type epic.exe --extensions-update-frequency=45 this will open a epic, wait for 15 mins and post the version number of proxy (check comment #7)

Proxy is not working . It is hardly working, by sheer luck getting it. Earlier it was not as now. I was getting global proxy as soon as epic is opened.
Now it is just by chance is coming.
Pl advise.
Pl guide how to understand version number of proxy and how to check comment #7 after opening a epic as advised by you.

Finally, i went LAN setting and deselected "use a proxy server for LAN " check box and global proxy is working. This suggestion once was given to me, i remembered it now.
