Force Update

How can I "force update" in Windows?
Any exe to run?

I do not like silent checks everyday, I have closed it.
So I need to check updates manually.

Re: Force Update

Hi Manep,

Thanks for writing us.

For windows we don't have an forced update mechanism,
running EpicUpdate.exe is not going to help you. But you can do a hack to your registry entries and get update fast.

Open regedit.exe  -> navigate to  HKCU/Software/Epic Privacy Browser/Update  then  change lastChecked value to 100

Re: Force Update

We hope to have a portable version of Epic that doesn't update itself at all out soon.
