Same again (it's been a long while since I checked it).
Most recent version of Epic has the problem again, for me.
I'm posting from Firefox.
On trying to open Epic:

"Epic didn't shut down correctly.  To reopen the pages you had open, click Restore."
with spinning rainbow

I can get to the desktop/Finder, but can't click on any other application in the Dock (wanted to look at Console and Activity Monitor but can't)
"Restore" button also does nothing.

Same thing again;
Version 38.0.2125.111 (278856)

starting Epic gets "Epic did not close properly .... Restore"
Restore does nothing; Mac gets a spinning rainbow and eventually I have to power cycle to restart.
On restart, this sort of thing:

but Epic seems to be open (able to get the version number)
and I can open websites.

Next time I open it it's fine.  So it's intermittent.  If there's anything in particular I can send you to debug let me know here.

Very sorry about the crash. We are working on a new update, which may be out next week, hopefully it helps.
