Epic constantly showing the "Page is not responding" popup

Hi,

Lately I've been having a lot of "Page is not responding" popups while using Epic. At first I thought it was due to a slow connection, but then I connected to different better networks and the problem persisted. I can do everything I need, but it's annoys me to have that popup constantly showing.
I'm using Epic 39.0.2171.99 on Windows 8.1.

Hi raging.metalhead,

Might be one of our proxy is slow. Have you turned off the proxy and tried ?

Usually Epic Proxy is turned off because it causes problems with some sites I use. It would actually be really cool if I could specify a whitelist for the proxy.
