Re: StartPage as a search engine

We have spoken with them many times and admire their longstanding work for privacy.  Unfortunately we have not received sufficient information to trust their privacy.  That's why we haven't added them -- adding a privacy search engine would be like endorsing them and we can't do that at this time.  Not them nor duckduckgo.

Re: StartPage as a search engine

I've been using the Startpage search engine for a number of months now under Epic. You can load the Startpage search engine on to Epic by going to the Startpage.com website and loading Startpage for chrome. Click on the "settings" icon (the triple platter) in the upper right corner of Startpage & half-way down you'll see "load startpage." Choose chrome. Follow the instructions from there. I have also made Startpage my homepage. Good Luck.
