'No data received' in proxy mode (being approved)

Started suddenly- no changes to my system.

" No data received   ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" when in proxy mode only. Normal (red) mode is fine. Been happening for several days and multiple attempts/ reloading/ refreshing etc

All other browsers fine (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)

Installed Epic on another PC on the same network- fine in all modes.

Uninstalled Epic on this PC and cleaned registry. Rebooted- reinstalled Epic. Same problem.

Reset Winsock etc- same problem.

Tried with antivirus both on and off- same problem.

Looks like I've got to give up on Epic after about 2 years on this PC......

Any more clues anyone?

Sorry, must be the proxy is having issues argh...we keep adding new servers but it does rarely get over-loaded...the proxy should be working fine now though.
