The interface will depend on the operating system you download.

The Brave Browser is a quality product and if you do a comparison it is quite secure.

We did modify the umbrella button's UI in the latest update, hope you enjoy it.

Note that Brave's more private mode with the TOR network activated should not be considered secure.  Many many nodes in the TOR network are regularly run by malicious hosts.  Both security and privacy are very important to us -- and considerably less so to Brave as they're not transparent about the security issues with TOR.
