Feel free to email me with any installation issues and I can try to help btw, alok at hiddenreflex dot com
For windows, if installation was successful there should be an Epic folder with an exe launcher in your %localappdata% (type that in a navigator window then go to the Epic folder). If that's not there, then installation wasn't successful.
Try installing again but make sure you have a strong net connection ideally directly into a modem. Often Epic doesn't install if the connection is weak and it can't download the entire file.

What operating system, version etc?

Sometimes it does install correctly, but for some reason doesn't put the icon on the desktop.
In Win 10, it installs in user, name, ApptData, Local. There, in Epic Privacy Browser, Application, you should find the icon for it. Just make a shortcut to that icon on the desktop, and click it to open the browser.

Thanks for the information. Feel free to share it with others as we have had a number of Windows 10 questions.

Not sure why Epic didn't install.
Please try installing again with your system connected directly to a modem with a strong connection. Epic installs in a folder in %localappdata% so you can always check there for an .exe file.

Sorry for the issues, we use the Omaha installer which is what's used for Chrome, and it works great for us. Sometimes if you uninstall and reinstall Epic, you may get an error which you can safely ignore.
Please make sure you have a good connection when you install Epic. Also be sure not to install Epic on corporate networks or some monitored intranets as they may block Epic.

Try reading some of these https://forum.epicbrowser.com/search.ph … 2013936230. I will refer your query as Windows is not my strong suit.

I referred your query to the "mother ship". Stay tuned, hopefully it will get ironed out.

Sorry about these issues. Argh.
Epic for Windows installs in the standard chromium location which is a folder in %localappdata%
You can always check there to see if there's a folder and an .exe file.
When you install Epic on Windows, make sure you have a strong internet connection as it dynamically downloads Epic from the internet. We use the Omaha installer which is open sourced by Google and used for Chrome as well.

I don't know, what did you enter?

Congratulations, sometimes Epic does not play well with older Widows OS. Thanks for the post.

Thanks blcv26 -- great find. Hi Jay77, that's a bug from our aggressive data-deletion on close...we'll fix it.
