Try chrome://extensions/. It should be in the menu so you can enable them as they are bundled I believe. Alternatively go to preferences, enter Adblock and you will find other solutions if the first doesn't work.

Epic's AdBlock and Encrypted proxy / VPN extensions are bundled in Epic, but still need to enabled upon install.

You can enable them via this page in a few seconds:
chrome://extensions/

That's just the Epic extensions page.

Hi, please check the extensions page and make sure adblock and the proxy are enabled.  To see all the icons, click on the extensions button and then click the pin icons for the umbrella button and proxy. 

In case the extensions have disappeared you can try Reset Epic in advanced options on the settings page, or more extreme, try deleting the extensions folder in localappdata then Epic then the default folder. 

In the worst case, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling but only after backing up passwords and bookmarks.
