I know there are a fair amount of problems with Windows but I'm at a loss to help. I've never heard of that situation and I'll ask some questions.

"here is a weird one: Fired up my computer today and Epic disappeared off my computer.  Not a trace!  Then when  trying to reinstall I get an error that the install file cannot be run because it is 16 Bit and Win 10 21H2 does not support it!?  Any thoughts?"

Hmmm, yes very odd, as I don't think Epic has ever had a 16 bit version?!  But if so, it would be many, many years old.  Maybe you could try deleting any Epic registry entries and deleting the Epic folder in %localappdata% -- then please try re-installing Epic and see if it works.
