Actually we've discontinued service for the built-in VPN / encrypted proxy so even if you got it somehow showing, the network will be shut down shortly.  Sorry about that, it's gotten too expensive & time consuming to maintain for us along with maintaining the core browser.

The best thing is to try some other free VPN extension(s) in the Play Store.  Some don't even require a login.  Some that have been around for some time now and work pretty fast but require a login including WindScribe and Proton.
